Visit for the Day!

  • Coffee and breakfast on Main Street at a café or coffee shop
  • Stop at the Welcome Center and Farmers’ Market located at 720 High Street
  • Photo ops at the Eiffel Tower, the world’s tallest three-story building, and the Secretariat Mural on Main
  • Shop downtown for art, antiques, photography, and boutiques
  • Lunch or brunch on Main Street or drive to one of our surrounding restaurants
  • Visit the historic Paris-Bourbon County Courthouse and Duncan Tavern
  • Take a tour of a craft distillery
  • Wander in the gardens of a local arboretum
  • Visit the local museum for current exhibit
  • Visit the Newseum at the local newspaper office
  • Have drinks at a local pub or bourbon bar
  • Finish the day with dinner at the historic Paris Train Depot

Stay Overnight!

Day One

  • Check into the local motel or a charming bed & breakfast

  • Follow the Horse Walk of Fame
  • Wander in the gardens of a local arboretum
  • Visit the local museum for the current exhibit
  • Have drinks at a local pub or bourbon bar
  • Shoot a round of pool at the local poolroom
  • Finish the day with dinner at the historic Paris Train Depot

Day Two

  • Tour a local horse farm – this is a must
  • Visit a local agricultural farm operation and farm store or pick your own products in season
  • Visit Colville Bridge in Millersburg – one of the last remaining covered bridges in Kentucky
  • Mustard Seed Hill is a great stop in Millersburg., especially at Christmas with thousands of light decorations
  • Kayak on Stoner Creek, Hinkson Creek, or other waterways
  • Bike on US Highway 21 for a tour of the back country in North Middletown
  • Dine in a local Mexican Restaurant for the perfect end to the day 
  • In season, catch a movie at the local Drive-In 

Day Three

  • Enjoy breakfast at the local iconic Jerry’s Restaurant
  • Head out to historic Cane Ridge Shrine and Meeting House
  • Lunch on Main Street or other local eateries
  • Become a “Distiller for the Day” at the local craft distillery
  • Visit the local YMCA for a swim or a workout
  • Drive back home through the beautiful back country roads when leaving from all directions
